Description
A seated figure with the head tilted back and the arms sweeping outward into a broad fan of drapery that forms the whole rear of the piece. The torso is opened by two oval voids, and the surface is worked throughout with long drawn lines. The most fully resolved of the clay works here.
Condition report
Assessed from photographs only. Modelled in clay and photographed in the studio; whether it has since been fired is to be confirmed. The outer edge of the drapery is thin and vulnerable.
